Groundhog Day
Tomorrow, Feb 2 will be Groundhog day!
A groundhog is a large furry rodent that looks like a cross between a beaver and a rat and a badger. These are revered (!) for being our our resident animal meteorologists and can predict if winter will end early or hang around a bit more. So lets wait and see!
This is cute, they don't celebrate CNY but do pay homage to these little critters. This is Shubenacadie Sam in Nova Scotia. He will be the first one to wake up and check for his shadow.
