The Amazing Race 9

Yippee a new season has started. Its already episode 3.

My favourite TV show in whole universe.
You get to see bits of the world, exotic locales, see people struggle, argue, quarrel, bicker, fight, pout, sulk, scream, shout, cry, smile, grin, cheer. Alamak where to else to see such a range of emotions in one show.

But ultimately being the kaypohs we naturally are, seeing the human interaction, seeing the pain of being eliminated, seeing the graciousness of having understood they gave their all. The joys of being first. Seeing the happiness of not being eliminated. The frustrations of being lost. Makes the show interesting.

Aiyoh this show, can make me pump my fist with energy, cringe and slap my head at the diffculty of a seemingly simple task, cheer for a team who made it to the next round, feel sadness for a team who got eliminated (with the exception of Rob and Amber), jeer the boorish teams.

Macham like watching football match, combined with a soap opera, combined with James Bong action.

Sigh, Happiness its back.

Comments:
I used to hate those reality series .... until I watched Amazing Race. lol

You're right. I dunno which is more interesting. The race or the human emotions involved.

Sometimes I do think, if, I'm given the chance to win a million, would it change me?? Will it change you??

BTW, cool bike!! lol (though I prefer the previous pic ... oh, those mountains!!)

My favorite also!!! Do you know that there's Amazing Race Asia (registration is closed today, 15/03). I wish I could join it...

I don't like reality shows. In real life, already so 'cham', some more want to switch on the telly to see other people bitch each other. Ya, ya, I know it's cowardly but I want to bury my head in the sand sometimes.

Yes, my favorite too. I don't watch survivor, apprentice, fear factor, AI but I really love Amazing Race and the places they show.

LOL!! I must be the only one who hasn't seen The Amazing Race! Damn!! Nevermind loh, at least I saw The Amazing Siderman..

reality show? wot's that? heheh! (you know I'm only kidding, right.)

watched a few episodes of Amazing Race, but somehow I never really caught on the bug. Like LB, I've watched Amazing Spiderman too.

*rescues the delectable May from a web of bugs*

Helen, gimme a million and see whether I happy or not! :P I miss my bike, I see mountains until sian liao and then all those twisty roads and no bike :(

Selba, alamak why u neva join? must try try lah :P

*gently pulls BkWorms's head out of sand* but you know hor they always kiss and make up after that, well mostly. Come to think of it, the marriage registry should make compulsory for all prospective marrying couples to go thru a amazing race course, if they still talking and kissing after that, the marriage die die won die wan! :D notice how the oldies on the race no matter wat still hold hands after all that bitching? so lovely to see that, but the young ones aiyoh *shakes head*

cocka, ya ya damn exotic the places another reason why i watch

See Fei, eh amazing race asia the prize so pitiful, but then again no surprise, sponsors in asia very stingy..... but US$100K is Rupiah 900,000,000 almost 1 billion yah? ;)

LB, oi, teach me how to build a silai/sugar mummy net leh, need to tangle some LOL

jomel, yah damn kancheong not like survivor wait for them to vote until fall asleep. Damsel in distress eh sure got a lot of bystander to help wan! hey that other show, Deal or no Deal oso damn exciting!

SA, actually the Romber Duo was pretty cool, gave the show the edge needed...yummy

May, must watch, must watch, all that exotic locations, the chee kek back stabbing, somehow you bond with these people cos they like you and me, jane and john doe and summore no need to eat cockroaches.....whew ;)

I love the amazing race!!! I think it should be out in the UK too! I better check and ask the boyfriend to record it for me.. i can watch it over and over and over again! hahaha
Just a few weeks ago i was watching the re-run of it.. the series with adam that wussy boy.
i think it was amazing race 7...
aiyoh... i am so excited i can't wait to watch it!!!!!

Hehe, I watched the THIRD episode of this season's AR. Qhite cool. Two young single guys pairing up with two single ladies. Tehy even share taxis to save money for their food & transportation. Catch it. Btw, I like the old couple who's been married for more than 40 years. They're FIT for their age, man!

MS, love rules! cant argue with 40 years eh just see the way to work together, such teamwork
