Sunday and Mondays together
Sunday another slow drive back to the village after my usual supermarket trip. Got my own little bit of the alps here.
The Bow River and its accompanying Canadian Pacific Rail is just too nice. Sit and admire the view.
Idiots who don’t know how to respect wildlife. He’s lucky there are no female Elk around otherwise the male Elk might have charged. The Elk is also known as the Reindeer in Europe.
A solitary water pump from decades ago, guarded by its sentry ground squirrel.
Today, a really muddy climb up to Mirror lake. Getting my cardio back on track.
And finally at Mirror Lake. Elevation 6,100 feet.

thats an Elk! a Moose is wayyy darker and more likely to be around watering holes..

Yup thats me in the army pants. The army gave me 5 sets of uniform, one pair of boots, combat webbing and one mint Kevlar helmut. Still havent a clue what to do with the helmut, maybe for angry GF's ...wahaaaa
